Real rewards
Active firms share an ETH reward pool funded by Bork trading fees. Your firm's Barkpower determines its portion, daily checkpoints record your rewards, and you choose when to claim them.
How the pool is funded
Marketplace sales contribute a creator royalty, and Vault buys contribute an ETH fee. In the current design, 90% of those collected fees goes to the Reward Reserve and 10% to the treasury. This shares a portion of trading fees with active players.
The reserve distributes the ETH it has received. Payouts vary with the funded pool and your share of total Barkpower; there is no fixed or guaranteed reward.
Your share, with an example
At each daily checkpoint, the available reward budget is shared in proportion to eligible Barkpower, including your Combo and Conviction staking modifiers. For illustration, suppose the checkpoint distributes 1 ETH, the network has 1,000,000 Barkpower, and your firm has 12,000:
12,000 ÷ 1,000,000 = 1.2% of the pool
Your Bork receives 0.012 ETH. Each later checkpoint uses its own funded budget and eligible weights.
Claim when you're ready
Rewards accumulate on your Bork until you claim them to your wallet in ETH. Credits already earned stay credited as your portfolio moves through later rounds. The daily checkpoint is normally handled by automation and can also be triggered by anyone.
Rewards when a Bork changes hands
On a marketplace sale or direct transfer, unclaimed rewards travel with the Bork. A seller can claim until the sale settles, so the balance that passes to the buyer is the amount remaining at settlement. To keep your rewards when selling, claim them first.
Selling into the BorkVault handles this for you: the Vault claims the Bork's outstanding ETH rewards and pays them to you as part of the sale.
Seasonal $BORK prizes
Alongside daily ETH rewards, we're adding $BORK prizes for the top players on each season's Elo leaderboard. The seasonal prize pool banks part of the treasury's share of activation and $BORK Vault fees. Explore ranked seasons for the full picture.
